The Bible tells us in Psalm 127:3 that children are a gift of the Lord, and parents are instructed in Ephesians 6:4 to bring up their children in the discipline and instruction of the Lord. At Lifepoint we consider it an honor and privilege to partner with our parents in the spiritual training of their children. We believe that no child is too young to learn about God. It is our desire through prayer, teaching and encouragement that we can help lay the foundation for these little ones to become all that God has created them to be. We strive through all our ministries to provide opportunities for our preschoolers to learn about God, Jesus, the Bible, church, family, and community.
What classes are available for my child?
Bed Babies (birth to walkers): "Lady Bugs"
One year olds: "Turtles"
Your child will be cared for by a responsible, dedicated adult who will meet their needs and help them experience God through love, play, and music. Although we have promotion day in May of each year, the Lady Bugs and Turtles will be promoted based on their physical abilities and communication skills.

In Jesus' teachings, many times He used ordinary objects to help those around Him discover God's truths. In our preschool classrooms, we use "Group Hands On Bible Curriculum", which engages each child with real objects and allows them to use all of their senses to discover life-changing Bible truths. Your child will hear an exciting Bible story and sing a few worship songs in our Preschool Worship Room, led by our puppet team, "New Life". Our teachers will reinforce that story in their classrooms with questions and developmentally appropriate activities.

Children ages 2-4 will go to our "Preschool Worship Room" after settling in their classrooms for an exciting interactive time of praise and worship music and then return to the classrooms for a Bible story, activity and snack. The Awana Puggles ministry is available for the 3's on Wednesday nights and Awana Cubbies is available for the 4's.
Little Lambs Lifegroups
Sunday Evenings 6pm

Children may be dropped off at the church at 5:45 and picked up by 7:15 for adult lifegroups that meet in the Senatobia city limits. Preschoolers will enjoy a Bible story, songs, and activities that will communicate the love of Jesus. There are 6 off campus adult groups that meet in homes. (4 locations in Hernando and 2 in Strayhorn, MS) College students go to these homes and provide a Bible story, music time, and activity for the preschoolers.
How do I register my child?
Upon arriving at Lifepoint Church, you will be directed to the "Nursery/Preschool" sign-in desk. First time guests will be asked to fill out a registration form for your child and/or children. Each child will be assigned a security ID number which will be indicated on a security bracelet given to the parent and the child. If there is a need to contact a parent during the service, the child's number will be shown on the worship screen. These ID numbers will also be used to pick-up your child after the service. Children will not be released to anyone other than an adult with the same ID number. Visitor's numbers will be indicated by the letter "V" placed before the number. Members will receive a permanent number.
How do I volunteer to help?
There are always volunteer opportunities to teach, plan activities, and help out at our Nursery/Preschool sign-in desk. In addition we are always looking for volunteers to be a part of our cleaning teams for our preschool classrooms to help ensure a healthy environment for our little ones. What are your safety procedures?
Whether you join us on Sunday for our "Son"shine Celebration, on Wednesday night for Kingdom Creatures, or Sunday night for Little Lambs Lifegroups, the safety of your child is of the utmost importance to us. All of our volunteers who will have contact with your children are required to have a background check. There is a copy of our Background Policy & Procedures" at the Nursery/Preschool sign-in desk and is available for viewing upon request.
