Ministry Teams


HOSPITALITY MINISTRY TEAM
Ministry Outcome:
Members and Vistors should experience a fellowshipping environment by offering and serving drinks and food during all service times.  Member and Visitors experience a welcoming environment in our front foyer and lobby through set-up and design.  Special events such as revival, conferences, and ministry projects should be planned and organized for to maximize effectiveness and ministry.

OUTREACH MINISTRY TEAM
Ministry Outcome:
All visitors should be contacted through a personal visit, a written card, and a phone call within the first week of their visit.  All visitors are directed to an age appropriate Lifegroup.  Lifepoint Church members will participate in a quarterly outreach emphasis.  Tate County residents will come into contact with Lifepoint Church through organized and planned outreach events.

FELLOWSHIP MINISTRY TEAM
Ministry Outcome:
Ministry activities involving food will be planned and organized.  Each ministry activity will have the needed food, set-up, and supplies.  Lifepoint Church will experience fellowship through planned and organized meals.

ORDINANCE MINISTRY TEAM
Ministry Outcome:
Candidate for baptisms will be contacted to review thier baptism decision, and find out their scheduled baptism date, and what to wear and bring.  Baptism records will be kept identifying dates and names of candidates.  Supplies for the LORD'S Supper will be available for quarterly LORD'S Supper will be organized and planned.

GREETING MINISTRY TEAM
Minstry Outcome:
All visitors and members will be greeted during all Lifepoint Church events. Visitors will be greeted three times through strategically placed teams in the parking lot, foyer, and lobby.  Visitors will feel welcomed through the G.R.E.A.T greeting strategy. Visitors will be directed toward needed minisitry areas. Visitors and members will receive the necessary bulletins and information for services.

MOTHERHOOD MINISTRY TEAM
Ministry Outcome:
All expectant moms will be prayed for and given a shower through their Lifegroup class.  New moms will participate in bi yearly luncheons.  Expectant moms and new moms will be ministered through organized ministry events a personal contact.

BUILDING AND GROUNDS MINISTRY
Ministry Outcome:
Visitors and Members will see a neat and clean visual appearance for Lifepoint Church.  The outside property will be attractive and welcoming through seasonal up-keep and maintenance.  Visitors and Members will experience a properly functioning building that provides a positive atmosphere and experience.

NURSERY AND PRESCHOOL MINISTRY TEAM
Ministry Outcome:
Members an Visitors will experience an organized, effective, and caring environment.  Nursery and Preschool Children will encounter a godly adult that will care, love, and educate them.  Members and Visitors will be enlisted and instructed on how to participate as volunteers in the Nursery and Preschool area.  Visitors will have contact from teachers through phone contact and written cards.

CHILDREN'S MINISTRY TEAM
Ministry Outcome:
Members and Visitors will experience an organized, effective, and caring environment.  Children will encounter a godly adult that will care, love, and educate them.  Members and Visitors will be enlisted and instructed on how to participate as volunteers in the Children's area.  Visitors will have contact from teachers through phone contact and written cards.

COUNSELING MINISTRY TEAM
Ministry Outcome:
Membership candidates will encounter a godly adult or student, equipped to share their personal testimony, able to counsel and effectively share the gospel, and clearly communicate Lifepoint Church membership criteria.  Membership candidates will receive information on Lifepoint Church, assigned to an age appropriate Lifegroup class, signed up for the next Lifepoint Basics, and have their picture taken.

PRAYER MINISTRY TEAM
Ministry Outcome:
Members and Visitors will have access to an effective and organized prayer ministry team.  Members and visitors will experience truthful and effective prayer when prayer requests arise.   Members and visitors will have immediate anytime access to emergency prayer requests.

MEN'S MINISTRY TEAM
Ministry Outcome:
Men will experience planned and organized ministry events.  Men will be invited to participate with other men in Bible study, accountability, and ministry events.  Men will find fellowship and friendship through an active and inclusive ministry.  Men will be challenged to walk with Christ through this ministry.

MISSIONS MINISTRY TEAM
Ministry Outcome:
Lifepoint Church will have a strategic missions emphasis clearly communicated to the Church.  Strategic partnerships will be identified and created through local, foreign, and church planting mission movements.  Lifepoint Church will testify to expanding God's Kingdom through giving away resources, people, and finances through an aggressive mission strategy.

WOMEN'S MINISTRY TEAM
Ministry Outcome:
Women will experience planned and organized ministry events.  Women will be invited to participate with other women in Bible study, accountability, and ministry events.  Women will find fellowship and friendship through an active and inclusive ministry.  Women will be challenged to walk with Christ through this ministry.

DRAMA AND SETS MINISTRY TEAM
Ministry Outcome:
For the worshipper of Lifepoint to have the medium of drama and visual aids draws them to worship.  To have skits and drama that would aid the Scripture being taught.  To have sets that would create an atmosphere for different themes and preaching series.  Sets and drama will also work together to decorate for special events like VBS, Christmas,  and fall decorations.  Drama sets will be fresh and original.  This has to take on the identity of our congregation.

AUDIO AND LIGHTING MINISTRY TEAM
Ministry Outcome:
The members and visitors at Lifepoint Church will experience worship services that refect authenticity, preparation, magnification, and freedom.  Members and visitors will experience quality music, sound, and other audio ministry that has been practiced and prepared before the service.  Members and visitors will not be distracted by lighting and audio.  Members' and visitors' worship experience will be enhanced by spirit lead preparation through this ministry team.

MEDIA MINISTRY TEAM 
Ministry Outcome:
The members and visitors a Lifepoint Church will experience worship services that reflect authenticity, preparation, magnification, and freedom.  Visitors and members will be able to visit an updated website that will be easy to navigate and updated weekly.  Visitors and members of Lifepoint Church will see power point and media clips that are functioning properly, correctly designed and presented, and spelled correctly.  This ministry team will practice and prepare any media used beforehand to limit any distractions in corporate worship.

WORSHIP MINISTRY TEAM
Ministry Outcome:
The members and visitors at Lifepoint Church will experience worship services that reflect authenticity, preparation, magnification, and freedom.  Visitors and members will experience a worship service that is committed to magnifying God through song and scripture.  The Worship Ministry Team will help ensure that members and visitors have a relevant, authentic, participating experience in corporate worship.

STUDENT MINISTRY TEAM
Ministry Outcome:
Student Ministries foster an environment that will expose students to an expository preaching style of God's Word.  We will give students the opportunity to develop close friendships with other believers that will in turn show how God has dynamically shaped their life.  This will be accomplished through large and small group Bible Studies, Summer Camps, Disciple Now Events, short term/long term Missions, and student leadership council, to name a few.  Student Ministries will bridge the gap that students feel between corporate worship versus their place in the Church.  Student Ministries will involve discipleship through godly adults as well as older students.

CHURCH CLEANING MINISTRY TEAM
Ministry Outcome:
Members and Visitors will experience clean and inviting church facilities at all times.  Volunteers will be on weekly rotating cleaning teams, no team will clean the church more than once a month.  Volunteers will be contacted by the Cleaning Crew leader for the day and time of cleaning.

PARKING LOT MINISTRY TEAM
Ministry Outcome:
All visitors and members will be greeted during all Lifepoint events.  The Parking Lot Ministry is the first point of welcoming our guests.  There are three points where we greet our guests: the west entrance, the opening of the parking lot, and at the main entrance of the sanctuary.  As the Parking Lot Ministry, we are responsible for directing  visitors to the appropriate ministry areas...we are to be prepared to serve in all weather situations.  In the event of inclement weather, team members are responsible for having the needed supplies set up and in use.  For example, during rainstorms, we will have umbrellas to escort quests to one or both of our building locations.  The Parking Lot Ministry team is a team of service and sacrifice. 

MEALS MINISTRY TEAM
Ministry Outcome: 
Members of this ministry team will work to ensure meals are provided to families or individuals that are not currently in our small groups ministry.  Meals are provided to minister to the families in a time of need or a time of loss. 

OFFICE VOLUNTEER MINISTRY TEAM
Ministry Outcome: 
Members of this ministry team will work with the church staff to assist with bulletin printing and production;media pack production, bulk mailings, newsletters and other administrative needs in the life of the church.
